GEORGETOWN - Shirley Altman Anderson, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at home.
She was born Oct. 8, 1934, in Georgetown County, a daughter of the late William Martin Altman Sr. and Mable Conklin Altman.
She was a retired teacher's aide with Maryville Elementary School. She was a member of First Assembly of God and was head of the church of nursery for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Jackie David Anderson; two sons, David Anderson and Marty Anderson, both of Georgetown; four daughters, Connie Rogers, Jac Redmond, Anne Anderson and Theresa Wall, all of Georgetown; a brother, James Edward Altman of Peak; two sisters, Marie A. Wyman of Silver Spring, Md., and Elanor A. Witt of St. Charles, Mo.; three grandchildren, Ashley Rogers, Christy Wall and Christopher Wall; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, William Martin Altman Jr. in 1997.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God. Burial will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
