Eleanor Wright Adams Craig was one of the three children of James and Hannah Lum. She went to high school at Ogdensburg Free Academy and then received a degree from Wellsely College in Boston. She was a kindergarten teacher in Ogdensburg for 14 years, until retiring in 1971.
Eleanor was twice married. On August 4, 1944 she married Clifford Adams in Richmond Va. He died in 1958 and she then married Philip Craig in 1968.
