Surviving; sons, James T. Petty, Jr. of Union, Jackie R. Petty of Buffalo; daughters, Mrs. Ruby Varner, Mrs. Joyce King, Mrs. Peggy Ray of Buffalo and Mrs. Mildred Austin of Monarch; half-brother, Earl Frost of Union; two grandchildren raised in the home; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Services 4 Tuesday at Buffalo United Methodist Church by the Revs. Bob Vehorn and James Hampton; burial in Rosemont Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jimmy Johnson, Bert Justice, Bud Synder, Paul Malone, Ryan Vinson, and Bobby Stone. Honorary escort will be Senior Citizens of Union Co. and men of Buffalo United Methodist Church.
