Elsie H. Gordon Obituary

Mrs. Elsie Householder Gordon, 68, 325 E. 4th South, formerly of 851 Edison St., died suddenly at her residence Wednesday at 7 p.m. of natural causes.

Born Nov. 16, 1884 in Salt Lake City, she was a daughter of Joseph and Agnes Hunter Householder. She married William Ernest Gordon in Salt Lake City in 1904. He died on Jan. 9, 1951. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Third Ward.

Survivors include two sons, Foster B. and Melvin H. Gordon, Salt Lake City; two brothers, E. J. Householder, Bingham Canyon, and J. B. Householder, Los Angeles, Cal.; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Deakin of Bingham Canyon; Mrs. Hazel Calton, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Luella Wilcox, Midvale; Mrs. Fay Chipman, American Fork; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at 36 E. 7th South with Keith Sargent, bishop of the Third Ward, officiating. Friends may call at that address Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services.

Interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
