"Willis A. Clem, 82 years of age and a pioneer of Duncan township, passed away at his home in Trenton, Friday morning. His demise came as a result of the infirmities of old age and the end was not unexpected. For forty years he owned and operated an extensive farm on West Locust creek south of Reger and was probably one of the best known men in Sullivan county. Later he exchanged his land holdings for property in Trenton.

He is survived by his widow; two children, Earl of Chicago and Mrs. Etha Johannaber of Casper, Wyo.; and one sister, Mrs. J. S. Jacobs of route 1.

Funeral services were conducted from the home Sunday afternoon with interment at Trenton." The Browning Leader-Record (Browning, Missouri), May 31, 1934
