Barbara R. Jaggers, 71, died Thursday, March 1, 2001, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory after a brief illness. She was born August 21, 1929, in Starkville to the late Claude Russell and Elizabeth Unger Russell. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Okolona.
Services were Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Okolona Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Smith and Dr. Randy Lewman officiating.
Survivors include her husband, James H. "Sonny" Jaggers of two children, Joe Hillhouse of Tupelo and Liz Perry of Okolona; two sister, Betty Stanford of Metarie, Louisiana and Rachel Milstead of Columbus;three brothers, Claude E. "Buck" Russell od Denver, Bill Russell of Walls and Mike Russell of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Melaine Henderson, Emily Jo Hillhouse, Evan Perry and Beth Perry.
Pallbearer were Dale Anderson, Mark Perry, Jerry Rogers, Randy Rye, Jack Griffin and Tommy Jaggers.
