Edna was a homemaker and a loving mother.

Edna was born August 4, 1923 in Rochester (Fulton County), IN the daughter of Henry Aurther and Bertha Aldma (Baker) Utter. She graduated from Lagro High School in 1941. Edna married Jareld Zane Gray on June 12, 1942 in Wabash, IN and he preceded her in death on August 30, 1985 at Jimmerson Lake.

Survivors include two sons – Donald Ray Gray of Huntington and Thomas Zane (Carolyn) Gray of Huntington; one daughter – Janet Kay Stucker of Huntington; and eight grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, four brothers – Norman Utter, Henry Utter, Alfred Utter and Robert Utter, and a sister, Ethel Clingaman, preceded her in death.
