Woodrow "Woodie" Holman was the son of John and Hanna (Tootman) Holman. He was reared and educated in Locust Grove. On March 8, 1944, he and the former Mary Francis (sic) Smith were married.
Mr. Holman retired from the Texas Pacific Railroad after 35 years. He was a member of Masonic Oriental Lodge No. 430, Muskogee, United Transfer Union and the American Quarter Horse Association. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include wife, Mary Francis of the home; a son, Gordon Holman of Tulsa; two daughters, Carol Lock of Edmond and Linda Kizzia of Muskogee; a brother, Johnny Holman of Locust Grove; two sisters, Ina Smith of Colcord, and Thelma Fite of Locust Grove, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Bradley Funeral Service, Muskogee, was entrusted with arrangements. Services were held at the Locust Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Downum officiating.
