Services for Bernhard H. Berg, 71, formerly of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hopkins Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Akron or the Leukemia Reserach Fund.
Mr. Berg died Wednesday at Akron General Hospital.
Mr. Berg taught school for a year at Moline and Davenport Turner Halls before moving to Akron, where he taught school for 34 years.
He was born in Davenport.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sandra, at home, and sisters, Mrs. John (Marie) Mohr and Mrs. Hertha Hildebrand, both of Davenport; Mrs. Hulda Timpe, Bettendorf, and Mrs. Harold (Antonie) Zeh, Rushville, Ill.
