Jeff R. Adkins, 69, former Monticello resident, died Thursday, July 29, 1965 in the Prescott Veterans Administrations Hospital in Prescott AZ. Funeral services were held Monday in the Mackey Funeral Home, Monticello, with burial in Bement Cemetery.
Mr. Adkins, who had been a resident of Prescott for the past 17 years was born June 6, 1896 in Monticello. He leaves his widow, Beatrice; three sons: Sam of Prescott; William and Frank of Logan UT; a brother, Sam in California; a sister, Miss Clara Adkins, Decatur and seven grandchildren.
