Hollidaysburg Democrat Standard, Wednesday, 16 December 1891:

"It is with sincere regret that we announce the death of William Lewis, brother of our esteemed townsman, Thomas H. Lewis, which occurred at his home in Glen White Friday of last week, from typhoid fever. The deceased was a son of Henry Z. Lewis, late of this place, and a greater portion of his life was spent here, where he had a large circle of friends who will deeply regret his death. He is survived by a widow and three children. The remains were brought to this place on Monday afternoon and interred in the Lutheran (sic) Cemetery."
