Mrs. Millie Louvena Hyde, 46, 17 Lawrence St., died at 7:48 a.m. today (Good Friday, March 28, 1975) following a sudden attack.

Mrs. Hyde was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Walker County, daughter of the late William Armstrong and Janie Catherine Gentry Eaton, but had resided in Floyd County for 26 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a former employee of Advance Glove Mfg. Co. and was a Private-Duty sitter with the elderly. She was preceded in death by four half brothers, Julian and Forrest Wilson, and Sam and Mark Eaton.

Survivors include her widower, John Thomas Hyde, to whom she was married Oct. 15, 1949; one daughter, Janie Melinda Hyde, Rome; two sons, William David Hyde, Lindale and John Kelly Hyde, Rome; three brothers, Jim Eaton, Chatsworth, Robert Eaton, Dalton, and Troy Eaton, Tampa, Fla; five half brothers, Ernest Wilson, Rome, Ben, Mose, Willie, and Woody Eaton, all of Lafayette; two half sisters, Mrs. Mary Junkins of Bainbridge, and Mrs. Myrtis Eaton, of Lafayette; and one grand-daughter, Ursula Shawn Hyde of Lindale.

Funeral services will be held today (Easter Sunday, March 30, 1975) at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Revs. Billy Coulter and Frank Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

The pallbearers will include Wesley and Bud Wilson, Houston and Larry Eaton, and Bill and Roy Campbell.
