Served in the Army in WW1

Worked at Gulf Oil Corporation in Philadelphia.

He was a devoted family man and company man. He named his summer home in Tom's River New Jersey "Gulfspride".

He was handsome, distinguished and proud of his family.

I remember most sitting on his lap and sucking my thumb and him jokingly saying I was "smoking my pipe". He paid for a 2 week Summer Camp at Friends Central the Summer before he died. I remember the oval wading pool and the quiet times and naps and the smile on his face when I told him the good times I had there.

When he died it was the first very big loss I was conscious of and had a profound effect on the entire family.

He is thought of and missed dearly every single day.
