Obituary for Howard H. Hoke

Howard H. "Peanut" Hoke, 72, of Millersburg, died Wednesday, March 31, at the Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg.

Born in Millersburg, he was a son of the late Daniel and Cora Snody Hoke.
He retired from the former Muskin Shoe Factory in Millersburg; and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Russell, Daniel and sisters, Dee Dee Bucher and Betty Hoke.

Surviving are a brother, William of Elizabethville; five sisters, Delphia Enders, Sarah Feidt, Mabel Graff, Carrie Buffington, Dorothy Hoke, all of Millersburg and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Monday, April 5, at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg. Interment with military honors was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.

Memorial donations may be made to the Millersburg Fire Co., P.O. Box 151, Millersburg, PA 17061 or to Millersburg Ambulance Assoc., P.O. Box 72, Millersburg, PA 17061. Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg, was in charge of arrangements.
