Evelyn Fritz, of Holden, formerly of Brookfield, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at Lee's Summit Medical Center. A funeral service will be Saturday, May 31, 2008, at noon at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield, Mo. Visitation will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. Lois Evelyn, daughter of Silas and Cora (Bunn) Jones, was born December 15, 1914, in Hale. On November 28, 1936, she married Donald Elmer Fritz, who preceded her in death May 5, 2005. Mrs. Fritz was a homemaker and had driven the kindergarten school bus for the Hickman Mills School District for many years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Paula Fritz of Lee's Summit; one daughter, Ferol Rookstool of Holden; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Her sister, Helen Russell, and brother Wayne Jones also preceded her in death.
