Services for Roy D. Adams will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at Gehrig & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Gary B. Abke officiating. Adams, 79, died monday at memorial Hospital Nursing Home here. He was born Nov. 5, 1896 at Harrisonville, Mo. to William Henry and Ada May Collins Adams. He married Lina A. Cox on Oct. 20, 1920 at Grinnell, Kan. and was a retired employe of the Sioux Army Depot. Survivors include four sons, Raymond of Oberlin, Kan., Max of Herlong, Calif., Ivan of Longmont. Colo., and Delmar of Sidney; two daughters, Vada Schadegg of Kimball and Emylee Willis of Meaker, Colo.; 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A memorial has been established to the Church of the Nazarene. Pallbears will be Lonnie Kuhns, Harry Needham, Gerald Jacobson, Scott Abke, Gary Hawkins, and Cory Abke. Burial will be at Greewood Cemetery.
