Albert Drattlo

Albert "Al" Drattlo of Morgantown died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was 81.

Mr. Drattlo was born November 30, 1921, in Detroit, Michigan to Sam and Lydia George Crisco Drattlo. They preceded him in death.

He served in the United States Army in Company b, 115th Medical Battalion during World War II.

Mr. Drattlo was employed by Ford Motor Company as a tool-and-die maker and retired in 1983.

He was a member of the Cottonwood Christian Church, a 30 year member of Nashville Masonic Lodge #135 and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He is survived by: one son, Al Drattlo of Morgantown; one brother, Chester Drattlo of Universal City, Texas; two sisters, Agnes Bothe of Needville, Texas and Ann Muncie of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

The funeral service was Friday, May 23, 2003, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown with the Reverend Darrel Miller officiating.

Burial was at the Oak Ridge Cemetery with military honors presented by the Brown County Veterans Honor Guard

A Masonic Service was presented by the Nashville Lodge.

Albert "Al" Drattlo, 81, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was a resident of Morgantown.

He was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Detroit. His parents were Sam and Lydia George (Crisco) Drattlo. He married Cora E. (Halligan) Drattlo on Oct. 15, 1949, in Harrison, Ark. She preceded him in death Sept. 1, 2001. Survivors include a son, Al Drattlo of Morgantown; a brother, Chester Drattlo of Universal City, Texas; and two sisters, Agnes Bothe of Needville, Texas, and Ann Muncie of Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

He was employed by Ford Motor Co. as a tool and die maker, retiring in 1983.

He was a member of Cottonwood Christian Church in Brown County and a 30-year member of Nashville Masonic Lodge 135. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Company B, 115th Medical Battalion.

The Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will also be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery with military honors by the Brown County Veterans' Honor Guard.
