Falmouth unexpectedly. Husband of Antoinette G. Erikson for 67 years. Born in
Quincy, he attended Quincy Public Schools and worked as a custom home builder
and general contractor in Quincy. He retired to Falmouth 23 years ago. Mr.
Erikson lived in Falmouth for 50 years including the summers he spent in there.
He ran the Sand & Surf Guest House in Falmouth Heights with his wife for 20
years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was member of a Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed sailing, gardening and golfing. Mr. Erikson was a loving husband,
kind and generous, and always ready to help others. Besides his wife, he is
survived by his son, John S. Erikson, Jr. and his wife Nancy, of E. Falmouth;
his daughter, Janet and her husband, Raymond Agius of Hanson; his brother,
Russell G. Erikson of Quincy; his sister, Constance Johnson of Quincy and 2
grandchildren, Beth and Sean Agius. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, May
28th, from 4-8pm in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St.,
Falmouth Center. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday at 1:30pm in the
Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
