HATTIE BELLE BOGAN
Mrs. Hattie Belle Bogan, 78, died Wednesday night at 11 o'clock at the McKinsey Nursing Home, which she entered a week ago from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Behr, 757 North Main Street, and with whom she had made her home for several years. Four years ago she sustained an injury from which she never fully recovered.
Mrs. Bogan was born in Fayette County, February 14, 1865, a daughter of John and Marybelle (Caton) Dunn. On September 14, 1880, she was united in marriage to Spencer F. Bogan, whose death occurred in 1932.
Survivors are five sons; Wesley, of near Manson; Earl of Frankfort; Omer of near Beard; George of Valparaiso and Forest, of Lynchburg, OH.; and two daughters, Mrs. Ed Carsman of Hammond and Mrs. Ed Behr. Twenty-nine grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Bogan was a member of the Bogantown Christian Chapel. She had been a resident of Frankfort 37 years, coming from here from Kirklin where she resided many years.
Friends may call at the Behr home, 757 North Main Street, after 7 p.m. Friday and until 11 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Aughe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
