Daughter of Thomas and Sarah Graves
NOTE: no date of death is inscribed in the stone.

I believe this Elizabeth Henry is Elizabeth Graves Cooke Henry, who was daughter of Thomas and Sarah Graves, married John Cooke, and when he passed away married William Henry, son of (The) Governor Patrick Henry and his first wife Sarah Shelton. The vital records appear to support this conclusion. See Red Hill.org webpage and the Patrick Henry family tree. I have not found the resting place of William Henry, but he was sheriff at New Bern until he passed away in 1798. Details and links are posted in Family Search if you are interested in seeing them. I'm tracking all the Patrick Henry line - which is how I managed to get to this gravesite.

I am also suggesting there is a duplicate entry - Elizabeth Henry Graves and Elizabeth Henry Gray are both posted here in Find a Grave. They are both the same gravestone, just one being misread as Gray.

[Possibly the Elisabeth Henry listed in the 1800 US Census in New Bern, Craven Co., NC.
Possibly the Mrs. Elizabeth Henery listed in the 1820 US Census in New Bern, Craven Co., NC.
Possibly the Elizabeth Henry whose estate probated in Craven Co., NC, in 1822.
Possibly the Elizabeth Henry whose obituary was published in the Sentinel 11/13/1824.]
