Manti Man Laid To Rest November 18

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 18, 1970, in the Manti South Ward for Leonard Alder Madsen, 53, who died November 15, 1970 at the Gunnison Valley Hospital of natural causes.

Mr. Madsen was born August 19, 1917, in Manti to Leslie J. and Reba Alder Madsen. He married Ardith Braithwaite March 21, 1940 in Manti. He was a laborer and an elder in the LDS Church.

Survivors include his widow; sons, daughter, Douglas Lee; Ogden; Kenneth, Layton; Michael K., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Richard (Sharon) Bjerregaard, Logan; 11 grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Melvin, Granger; K. W. Clair, both Centerville; Morgan, Arvada, Colorado; Mrs. Roland (Pauline) Beck, Centerfield; Mrs. Douglas (Joyce) Cox, Manti.

Services were conducted in the South Ward by Bishop Wallace Wintch.

Prayer at the mortuary was by Michael K. Madsen.
