She professed faith in Christ at the age of fourteen years and lived a consistent Christian life until her death. She was a member of the Idalia Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Luther C. Walker of Bloomfield, Arthur M. Walker of St. Louis and one daughter, Mrs. Denzil B. Parmenter of Bloomfield; one sister, Mrs. Jonas Hopkins of Bloomfield. One Step-Sister Mrs. Jack Williams and one Step-Brother, J. S. Magee both of St. Louis, three nieces, four nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
On December 7, 1945 she fell and fractured her hip, from which injury she never recovered. She passed away Monday evening at home March 23, 1946 at 6:30 o'clock at the age of 79 years and two days.
She was a good wife and a wonderful Mother and neighbor, always thinking of and considering others and seldom making a complaint even in her last illness. Hers was a life of pleasant memories.
