As per Robert Henry Hudson's death certificate, he died in Ponca City, Oklahoma and his body was sent to Buffalo, Arkansas for burial. At this time his grave and cemetery are unknown.

Word was received here Wednesday morning that R.H. "Bob" Hudson had passed away at his home near Buffalo, after being in very bad health for a number of years. The funeral arrangements had not been completed at last report. Mr. Hudson had been a resident of Baxter County all of his life and had served the people of the county in different capacities. He was first elected assessor of the county and after serving two terms in that office was elected sheriff, serving two terms. After a number of years the people elected him as their county judge, serving one term. In his work as an official he always did his duty in the law required. He was one of our best and most res;pected citizens. He leaves his wife, several children and a large number of other relatives.

This obituary was carried in The Mountain Echo, Yellville, Arkansas, in the July 17, 1935 issue. It was a reprint of an article that had been carried in the Baxter Citizen, Mountain Home, Arkansas. This article says R.H. "Bob" Hudson died at home in Buffalo. The Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, Arkansas, carried and article that stated that R. H. "Bob" Hudson, age about 80, former assessor, judge and sheriff of Baxter County, died at Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Died: Bob Hudson, age 80, former judge & sheriff of Baxter Co. in Ponca City, OK at home of his son Wilson. Survivors are three children: Mrs Tom Mansfield of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Lee Ming of Pritchett, TX & Wilson Hudson of OK.
