WOODIED RUEL BLANKENSHIP AND RUTH L. GIFFORD BLANKENSHIP FAMILY.

Woodie was born near Belle Plaine, Kansas June 10,1913,
the son of Thomas Alexander Blankenship and Minerva FLORENCE Wooldridge. Ruthie, the daughter of Alfred G. Gifford and Ina C. Bender was also born near Belle Plaine, on August 7, 1917. Both Woodie and Ruth graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1931 and were active in Alumni Association for a number of years. Woodie and Ruth were married October 31,1940 at Wellington, Sumner, Kansas and farmed in the Belle Plaine area until Woodie's death in 1979. They had two children.

Miss Beulah Wooldridge attended the skating rink at Oxford last Thursday and Friday nights.


There was a fine dinner at Mr. and Mrs Dell Park's. Mrs. Ruth Wooldridge of Kentucky; Mr and Mrs. Lovick S. Wooldridge and Charley; Mr and Mrs. Thomas A. Blankenship, Paul, Ruth and Woodie; Mr and Mrs. Edward Blankenship, George, Helen, Effie, Walter and Carl; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wooldridge and Jacob Rantin, Bealah and Beulah Wooldridge were among the guests.
