Martha Nellie Ursula Milner was born Dec. 20, 1920 in Winnipeg Canada to William Cane Milner and Edith Edwards the youngest of their 3 children. Her brother Bill died several years earlier and her sister Freda died the day before Ursula in Canada.

Ursula Eastes, "Sue", was a Registered Nurse. She did her training at Winnipeg General Hospital. Before going into nursing she was a legal secretary. Mom loved nursing especially total care. She worked first at the hospital where she was trained, then at Santa Monica Hospital. She met Lawrence T. Eastes and they were married in 1957.

For several years until her retirement she worked at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. She also helped her husband with his business in Ontario as his secretary. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her children are Joy Eastes Pero and William Lawrence Eastes. Her grandchildren are Sherry Marie Malcom and Michael Dean Pero. Her Great-grandchildren are Iesha Malcom, Jacob Malcom, Jordan Malcom, and Jaylen Malcom. She had four grownup step-children: Doretha Eastes Bohan, Leni Leon Eastes, Jerome Rivera Eastes, and Jacqueline Eastes Perry.

She had an ongoing battle with cancer which finally took her life but was mentally alert, and knew her family right up until the end of her life.
