Our loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma Sarah was born on January 22, 1923 in Sunnyside, Utah to Ada Shurtz and John Roy Franklin. She married Clearance Mann Adams on August 24, 1940 in Castle Dale, Utah. They had 16 children.

Survived by children, Ceola (Jerry) Strother, Sunny (Jackie) Adams, Victor (Jerri) Adams, James Adams, Louise (Rick) Flygare, Lavina (David) Hunt, Floyd (Connie) Wigginton, Robert (Jen) Sandgren, Julie (Carl) Seaberg, Joyce (Michael) Sheppard, Jolene (Tim) Jorgensen, Bev (Monty) Emmons, Della (Robbie) Pitt, Dolly Adams, and John (Teri) Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband; one infant daughter, JoAnn; and a daughter-in-law, Glenna. Sarah was the oldest of seven children. She had 52 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. She gave her life for her new grandson, who came into the world the same day she passed away.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Street, where there will be a Viewing on Tuesday from 9-9:45 a.m.
Interment, Cleveland, Utah Cemetery.
