Kenneth Oliver Bazzoon, aged 66 of Cleveland died at his home April 1, 1978. A native and lifetime resident of San Jacinto County he was born Feb 14, 1912. A member of Tarkington Prairie Lodge #498 AF & AM, Westside Church of Christ and a veteran of WWII in the US Army. A retired mechanic he was a partner in the Allen-Bazzoon Garage for 25 years.
Survivors include: wife Mrs Tommie Lee Hanks Bazzoon of Cleveland; sons, Robert James Haltom of Germany and Billy James Bazzoon of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Robin Haltom of Germany; sisters, Mrs Avis Peavey of Cleveland and Mrs Eva T. Tilton of Tarkington; brothers, Vance Bazzoon of Zavalia, Drafton Bazzoon of Tarkington, Addison Bazzoon of Houston and Raymond Bazzoon of Tarkington; and granddaughter Jennifer L. Haltom.
Services were at 4 pm Tuesday, Apr 4 from the Pace-Stancil Funeral Chapel with Mr. Bill Nelson, Pastor of Tarkington Prairie Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in the family plot of Cleveland City Cemetery with Masonic graveside services by the Tarkington Prairie Lodge # 498 AF & AM.
