Funeral services for James Ed Latham, 86, of Mathiston, were conducted on Jan. 16, at Clarkson Baptist Church. Bro. E. M. Gordon and Bro. Frank Smith officated with burial in New Hope Cemetery. Arrangements were by Oliver Funeral Home.
Pallbears were Thomas Allen, Bobby Allen, Roy Lee Latham, Rodney Latham, Billy White, and Robert Hill.
Mr. Latham, a retired farmer, died on Jan. 15 in Ivy Memorial Hospital in West Point. He survied by three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice White and Mrs. Mary Alice White of West Point and Mrs Lillie Mae Hill of Mathiston; a son Eckford Latham of Eupora; 23 Grandchildren and 36 Great Grandchildren.
