West Point - Mary Alice Allen White, 88 died Apr. 7, 2005, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, Ms. Services were held Saturday at Calvert Funeral Home with Sam Edwards and Sammy McMillen officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Mathiston. Mrs. White was born to the late Ed Latham and Maggie Shaffer in Hardeman Co., Texas. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed by Blazon Flexible Flyer. In addition to her parent's, she is preceeded in death by her husband Charles Marion Allen, and sons, Bobby Wayne Allen, and Roy Lane Allen. She is survied by her son, Thomas Allen of Houston; sister, Lillie Mae Hill of Mathiston; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great, great, granddaughter. Tim Ferrell, Jason Hatfield, Charles Poindexter, Bobby Allen, Thomas W. Allen, and Thomas E. Allen served as pallbearers.
