On Friday, Feb. 10, one of the largest funerals ever held in the city of Meridian, was that of Fred Thurman, who died last Wednesday evening and was buried today in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery east of town.
Married on July 5, 1892 in Boise, Idaho, to Lola T. Daly, Fred leaves his wife and four small children to mourn his death. His two son's are DeWitt O. C. Thurman and Yale William Thurman; his two daughters are Gladys G.Thurman and Beatrice Thurman. He had many siblings.
