Frank Stoll left his residence in North Port, Fla., for his heavenly home on Saturday, January 29. He was 83.
Frank was born in Montgomery, Ind., on June 26, 1938, to Herman and Agnes (Kauffman) Stoll. He is survived by Darlene, his wife of 62 years, and daughters Nina (Andrew) Welding, Julia (Marc) Hoard, and Melanie (Ron) Fichtenberg. He had four grandchildren — Nathan (Becky) Hoard, Joel (Jessi) Hoard, Seth Hoard, and Lyss Welding (Michael Matthews) — and three step grandchildren Amber (Joe) Watson, Hannah (Matt) Ociesa, and Andrew Fichtenberg. Frank was blessed with 11 great-grandchildren — Kerith, Ryder, Avery, Titus, Elias, Esme, Kassandra, Richard, Eve, Camden, and Adelaide. He is also survived by a sister Barbara Lengacher and many nieces and nephews.
Frank was an X-ray technician, who drove tour bus in retirement. An avid fisherman and woodworker, Frank never met a stranger. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people, who soon became friends or fishing buddies. He enjoyed teaching Sunday School, music, singing, and spending time with friends. But mostly, he loved the Lord and he loved his family. He will be terribly missed, but those who know him take comfort in the fact that he has a new body, a new heart, and we will see him again in heaven.
