Julius Wandrie [sic]. Funeral services for Julius Wandrie will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the home of his son, Otto Wandrie, retired police lieutenant, 3438 Burns Ave., and at 2:30 o'clock in the Trinity Synodical Lutheran Church, Gratiot Ave. and Rivard St. The Rev. Gilbert T. Otte will officiate.

Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Wandrie, who died Friday after an illness of a year, was born in Germany Aug. 1, 1845, and had lived here 69 years. He had been a member of Trinity Church 55 years. For years, he was a familiar figure along Gratiot Av., from Eastern Market to Burns Ave., it being his habit, from the time of his retirement 40 years ago until his health failed a year ago, to walk that distance daily, dispite his advanced years. Surviving are four sons, William, Theodore, Otto and Albert, and two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Bernstein and Mrs. Hattie Keenan.
