Frances Elizabeth SCOTT, "Fanny," was the daughter of Lorenzo Dow SCOTT & Jane Ann Catherine GRINER, and the first wife of James Nathaniel SCOTT (Nathaniel James SCOTT).

NOTE: Although her burial remains in the Scott-Wells Family Cemetery, the accompanying tombstone has been removed from this site, and placed in the Black Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery as a cenotaph; today (2008) this stone is in a Scott Family plot which includes the burial and stone of Laura Viola LEE, her husband's second wife.
