COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Harvey Kirby, 76, will be conducted at the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home Friday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Willie B. Rodgers and the Rev. Buddy Henry officiating. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Kirby died January 30 at Cookeville General Hospital following an extended illness.
A native of Tennessee, he was the son of the late O.H. and Polly Chaffin Kirby.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jack Taylor of Cookeville; a son, James Kirby of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Willie Rippetoe and Mrs. Claudie Brewington, both of Cookeville, and Mrs. Carrie Davis of
Shelbyville; three brothers, Barney Kirby of Cookeville, Fowler Kirby of Detroit, and Charlie Kirby of Everton, Missouri; four grandchildren.
Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
