Daniel Locklin
Daniel William Locklin Jr., 82, of 4668 Dick Wilson Road, Denver died Sept. 21, 2007.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.
A native of Athens, Ga., he was retired from Duke Power after 30 years as a construction worker and was the owner of Locklin Garage in Denver. He was a veteran of the Navy during World War II.
Survivors include wife Flora Locklin of the home; sons Bill Caldwell of Savannah, Ga., James "Jim" Locklin of Denver and Richard "Terry" Locklin of Lincolnton; daughter Lynn Smith of Greenville, S.C.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 N. Cedar St., Lincolnton, N.C. 28092.
