Mrs. Marian Akin Locklin, 66, wife of Dan W. Locklin Sr., of 3550 Lake Terrace Place, died in Greenville, S.C., yesterday after a brief illness.
Mrs. Locklin was born in Oconee County and had lived in Macon since 1941. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, who is secretary of the Grand Lodge of Georgia F&AM; a son, Dan W. Locklin Jr., of Greenville, S.C.; a daughter, Mrs. H. Grady Hamrick of Gulf Breeze, Fla,; two sisters, Mrs. W. J. Carruth of Farmington and Mrs. Herbert T. O'Dillon of Watkinsville; a brother, George T Akin Jr. of Dallas, Ga.
