Sweet Father-in-law ~ Nolan Leroy was the youngest of four children born to Horatio Milo Ray Huntley and Ellen Leora McDonald Huntley in Grant County Oklahoma.

Nolan was the Grandson of Horace Milo Huntley and Mary Elizabeth McBride Huntley and John McDonald and Anna Eliza Henry McDonald.

After serving in the Korean War he married Almeta May Herridge on May 26, 1951, at the First Christian Church in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Nolan and Almeta were blessed with two Sons ~ Douglas Eugene born April 27, 1952 and Timmy Dean born March 23, 1960.

Nolan had two Sisters and one Brother ~ Dessie Nadine (Farnam), Esther Elizabeth (Knox) and John Milo.

Nolan was a Farmer Stockman. He lived most all his life on a farm in Grant County Oklahoma, where he raised Beef Cattle, Wheat and had over 100 head of Shetland Ponies. He loved going to Livestock Auctions. Nolan enrolled in Auctioneer School January 7, 1947. In his younger years he owned a Indian Motorcycle and enjoyed going to motorcycle races.

Nolan passed away March 7, 1975 at the young age of 46 from cancer. He and Almeta were married 23 years. Nolan loved his family very much ~ he was a good Son, Brother, Husband, Father and Friend. He is Missed Dearly by Family and Friends!
