New York Mills Died in Utica

The death of Fred Larvie, a well known and respected resident of East Utica, occurred at his home, ??? Tilden Ave this morning after an illness of three years. He had been suffering from a complication of diseases.

Mr. Larvie was born in Montreal , Canada Nov. 2?, 1846. Twenty-five years later, Oct. 22, 1869 , he was united in marriage to Miss Odeal King of Montreal , Can. Several years after their marriage they removed to this country and to Hinckley , where they resided a number of years. Later they moved to New York Mills and eight years afterwards to Utica , where they have resided since. Mr. Larvie was employed in a local mill until a few years ago, when he was stricken with the complication of diseases that caused his death this morning.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Joseph, Victor , Mrs. Rose McKee and Miss Rose Larvie: four grandchildren, Leo and Agnes McKee and Anna and Emil Larvie , all of this city. Mr. Larvie was a member of St. Agnes's Church of this city.

Funeral services will be held from his home Monday and interment will be made at Hinckley. Friends of the family are invited.
