SUNBURY —- Martha Ann Wodzak, 87, of RR2 Sunbury, died Saturday. May 26. 2001, at Sunbury Community Hospital following a four-year illness.
She was born July 22, 1913, in Tharptown, a daughter of Thomas Jefferson Renn and Charlotte Elizabeth (Snyder) Renn. She was first married to Russell Greenwood, who died in 1945. On Feb. 14, 1948, she married. Joseph William Wodzak, who died Sept. 30, 1987.
Mrs. Wodzak attended Tharptown Schools. She was a housewife. She was a member of Elysburg United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Delore Greenwood of Mifflinville and Thomas and Linda Wodzak of Elysburg; six daughters and five sons-in-law: Betty and Russ Welsh of Westville, N.J.; Joann Parry of Lancaster; Jean and Adam Foura of Shamokin; Nancy and Ras Bingaman of Sunbury; Mary Jane and Art Klemick, of Elysburg; Donna and Tom Martin of Elysburg; and Cindy and Ken Whitmer of RR2 Sunbury; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Levin of Ramsey, N.J.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jason Klemick and Randy Parry; one son-in-law, Bill Parry; and 14 brothers and sisters.
Visitors may Call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at Elysburg United Methodist Church, 9 West Center St., Elysburg. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church by the Rev. Will Humes. Burial will be in Pine Hill
