Harrison was born in 1819 in Sumner, Maine, the son of Lot Hall and Sarah Brown Titcomb Hall (one of at least 11). He spent his life farming. By 1850 (census) he had married Elizabeth Lovejoy and had two children, with another on the way. They were living in Patten, Maine, where they remained for the rest of their lives. Harrison married twice.

First Marriage: Elizabeth, born in Maine ca. 1823/4. Harrison and Elizabeth had these children, all born in Patten, Maine:

√ Joseph O., b. October 17, 1847 (see Findagrave below)

• Eliza J., b. ca. 1848/49 (In 1850 Census she was called Elizabeth J.) (still living in 1860)

√ Hubbard John (or John Hubbard), b. Nov 26, 1850 (see Findagrave below)

• William H. b. ca. 1851/52 (William probably died 1860 or 1861. His name was "reused" soon after that.)

√ Augusta A., b. Apr 25, 1854 (see Findagrave below)

√ Mary E., b. Dec 3, 1856 (see Findagrave below)

√ Bion Bradbury, b. Aug 1858 (see Findagrave below)

• William H., b. ca. 1861/62 (Note "reused" name.) (still living in 1880)

--- There may have been others who never lived to see a census.

Elizabeth died sometime in the early 1860s.

Second Marriage: Lucinda M. Sibley, born in Masardis, Maine, in Feb. 1845. (Note she is much younger than Harrison and much younger than Elizabeth.) Harrison and Lucinda had these children, both born in Patten, Maine:

√ Edith Estelle, b. Oct. 6, 1869 (see Findagrave below)

√ Charles Francis Adams, b. June 22, 1877 (see Findagrave below)

In the 1900 Census (last in Patten, Maine), Harrison and Lucinda had been married 33 years; Lucinda had birthed two children, both living (there would be no more). Their son Charles, his wife Annie Kate, and their first three children, were living with them.

We know that Lucinda, along with Charles and family, moved to East Bridgewater, Massachusetts after Harrison's death. (Harrison's son Bion from his first marriage had moved to East Bridgewater a few years before.)

Lucinda lived with Charles until her own death in 1932 (remember she was much younger than Harrison). She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery. Her gravestone says, "Wife of Harrison E. Hall."
