Jesse was a farmer and blacksmith as was his father. Although no grave has been positively located for him in this cemetery a son is here that was near him in 1870 and it is reasonable that he is too.

They were married 06 Aug 1822 in Surry Co NC with his father John as bondsman. They had 13 children.
