Cora Mary Gibbs Hans, 91, of Stony Point, passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at the Gordon Hospice House. Mrs. Hans was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Phillipsburg, N.J., and was the daughter of the late Harry Gibbs and Lydia Smith Gibbs. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School in Phillipsburg, N.J. and she was married to Frederick Hans, who preceded her in death in April, 1994. Mrs. Hans was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Rhyne (Steve), of Stony Point; and one son, Frederick Hans Jr. (Susan), of Florida. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Jennifer Cartner (Mike), Traci Crabtree (Reagan) and Erin Hall (Kyle), along with three grandsons, Jim Rolph, Brian Hans and Mike Hans. She is further survived by nine great-grandchildren, Jake, Cole, Zack, and Jase Cartner, Hunter Sloan, Amelia Hans, Arrington and Fenton Crabtree and Cooper Hall.
