"Henry Crum Sr. was a native of Pennsylvania, and a farmer by occupation. He was a soldier in the War of 1812. He was the father of five children: John (Catharine Fenstermaker), Jonathan (Lydia Rupright), Lydia (William Strock), Henry (Sallie Smith), and Samuel (Lydia Brunstetter). Only Jonathan and Henry are now living."
