Mrs. Caroline P. Matteson, widow of the late A.A. Matteson, at one time County Clerk of St. Lawrence County, died at the City Orphanage yesterday aged eighty eight years. The remains will be brought here today and the funeral conducted this afternoon. Burial will be made at Hermon.
