Graveside Services will be held at Volusia Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13. T.O. was born in Dunn, N.C., on October 12, 1923, and he was Baptist. He moved here in 1964 from his native North Carolina. He was a retired auto body technician and an avid bass fisherman.
T.O. was a loving and devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mabel B. Herring, Holly Hill; daughters, Sylvia A. Mann (Lamar), Ormond Beach and Donna Rose Rucker (Stephen), Lamont, Fla.; also three grandchildren, Heather Iannarelli (Jeremy), Phillip Tate Rucker (Jessica), Charles J. Rucker; and four great-grandchildren.
