Mary Jane married early in life (age 16) and had 7 children. Her husband and immediate family moved from MO to CA by 1925 and after 1922. Once the family became established in CA Mary Jane had her final three children. When her twin sons where 18 months old Mary's husband Clarence died. She was then left with seven children ages 14 years to 18 months to raise.
They were living in Southern California at the time and remained in that area.
