Edith Minnie Breshears Burrell
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 1999, in Portland Memorial Funeral Home for Edith Minnie Breshears Burrell, who died April 17 at age 83.
Mrs. Burrell was born Dec. 25, 1915, in Tonasket, Wash., and raised in Horse Spring Coulee, Wash. Her maiden name was Breshears. She had lived in the Portland area since 1939. A homemaker, she worked for American Linen Supply and later for Tektronix Inc. until retiring in the early 1960s. She married William E. in 1939; he died in 1987.
Survivors include her daughter, Winnifred J. "Jo" Schenk of Lake Oswego; son, Willis O. of Portland; sister, Grace Rohde of Tacoma; brothers, Marion "Skip" Breshears of Molalla and Henry Breshears of Tonasket; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private interment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
