Matilda I. Yingst, 74, wife of Thad S. Yingst, died Sunday, October 17th, at their home in Ontario, Calif., following a week's illness with a heart disease.

Mrs. Yingst went to Ontario from Huntsville twenty-four years ago and had resided there since. She had lived a true Christian life and was affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors besides her husband are five daughters, Mrs. Grover Frisby, Huntsville; Mrs. Roy Campbell, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. J. Edwin Grant, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. L. E. Stansell and Miss Susie Yingst of Ontario, Calif; four sons, Fred Yingst of Ontario; Ted and Herbert Yingst of San Bernardino, Calif. Two sisters, Rebecca Griggs of Purdy and Minnie Brown of Aurora, Ark.; four brothers, Albert Dotson, Rt. 5 and Tom Berry Dotson Rt. 1, Huntsville, John Henry Inman, of Kingston, and Oliver Dotson, Ontario, Calif.; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Interment was in the Bellevue Cemetery, Ontario, Calif., Wednesday, October 20. Pallbearers were Offie Dotson, Floyd Dotson, Frida Dotson, Clifford Dotson, Burel Carter and Raymond Stanfill, all of Ontario, Calif. The following tribute is by one of the children:

Oh, God made a Wonderful Mother, A Mother I thought would never grow old, He made her the smile of the sunshine, He molded her heart in pure gold.

He made Her as near an Angel As anyone could ever be, God made a Wonderful Mother And He gave that sweet Mother to me.
