She grew up in the Denver area. In June 1941, Ruth married Ned Anderson. They worked in the Denver area and then moved to California to work during World War II.
Ruth returned to her husband's home town of Oak with him and their two older sons in the late 1940s. She did clerical work in the late 1950s at the ASC Office in Nelson and retired from there in the mid-1960s.
Ruth enjoyed visiting, playing cards and doing crafts of the time.
