Bertha L. "Becky" Hoover, of New Oxford and formerly of Hanover, passed peacefully from this world May 6.
She was a daughter of Adolphus Edward Henry and Violet Marie (Small) Frock.
Mrs. Hoover was a former member of Green Springs United Methodist Church and was a member of Emery United Methodist Church, New Oxford.
She was the wife of Bernard J. Hoover, who died March 22, 2002, and surviving are one son and three daughters, Larry Bernard Hoover of New Oxford, Janis K. Hoover of Marlin, Texas, Kathy A. Gross of Hanover, and Nancy L. Yantis of Hanover; brother, Paul S. Frock of Hanover; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Harold Wentz, Edmond Frock, Howard Frock, Alta Gouker, and Pauline Nitchman.
